FEATURING SHA SHAMSI

Sha Shamsi, one of the top model in Singapore back in the 90s with her prominent cheekbones that many would die for is now raging Singapore with her top notch skills in makeup artistry.

Sha was scouted by her lecturer to try out for a youth show because of her height & was sent to an audition for Mimi Tan from Mannequin which changed her life 360°.

Mimi loved Sha's looks and asked if she wanted to drop by the agency but was declined as Sha had to finish her 'A' levels. Right after finishing her exams, she made a trip down to Mannequin. Mimi signed her and it was a 3 days crash course, no questions asked. Her polaroids were taken and not a day was wasted. Sha soon got sent to John D Souza which made her career escalate faster than anything else she'd ever imagined. One day after the casting with John, she was fully booked by the top magazines in Singapore.

First it was an editorial spread for GO Magazine.

The next day was a spread for Her World Spread and cover.

Following day was a cover for GO Magazine.

Another cover for Female Magazine. She was also a muse to one of the legendary god of mane, David Gan from Passion Salon.

A few years go past, and Sha decided to change her career. She took up makeup classes and was sent to her very first opera show. It wasn't a very pleasant journey throughout the show as she had to do up to 60 cast all by herself. Left stranded alone backstage to finish it all up, she persevered.

Being the kind hearted person she is, she did not have the heart to abandon the show like what the other makeup artists did. She loved challenges and the adrenaline rush at that moment. Planning and coordination was everything she had to complete the whole cast. She did not want to waste the 5 seconds of finding for brushes so speak about speed and time, Sha is the girl. Even Rogen Jenkins, a famous storyteller with a whole lot of theatre and plays made Sha, the Head of Makeup for his company.

About 4 years go by and she said hello to bridal makeup and hair artistry where she stepped into a whole new area of style and commands. She also understood the needs and wants of a bride. From then onwards, Sha entered the fashion industry without even knowing it. It was a totally different approach for her and she pulled through.

She's done major campaigns like Samsung & Robinson to name a few. Also, have done covers for almost every top magazines in Singapore. Sha have worked with local creatives and from around the world and have loved every moments of it.
